We will deliver your bottle(s) FREE OF CHARGE using the DHL Express Delivery service. Bottles will usually be with you the next working day depending on when we process your order. The delivery time may be delayed however for the following remote areas: IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, BT, IM & TR21-25.
We incur a surcharge for these remote areas however since most of the Whisky is made in Scottish Highlands, Islands and remote areas, we will not charge you for the extra delivery surcharge.

Unfortunately, The Rare Whisky Shop has no control over duties and tax charges customs will collect when importing alcohol. If you live within the European Union, the good news is that the price you see is the price you pay. If you live outwith the European Union your country of residence may charge you duty and tax on your imported alcohol. You are responsible to pay this at your local customs office or maybe your courier will take payment upon delivery. Under no circumstances will the courier deliver your shipment without taking this payment. If you refuse to pay then the shipment will be returned to the depot where they will hold it for a maximum of 7 days and then the shipment will be destroyed by customs, or returned to sender. If the shipment is destroyed, The Rare Whisky Shop will not be liable to provide a refund. We will however deduct our fees for the return from your refund only if the item is returned to sender. By purchasing from us you agree to the delivery conditions set out regarding duty and taxation charges.
Deliveries to schools, colleges, PO boxes, military bases and prisons are not permitted.

The Rare Whisky Shop may provide an exchange, refund or a gift card for any faulty or defective products, or if products are different as detailed on our website.
If upon receipt of your bottle you are not satisfied, you must notify us in writing within 7 working days from the date of your order. We will only refund the delivery charge if the item was delivered incorrectly, or the item was damaged in transit.
Any returned goods must reach us within 14 days of placing your order. The bottle must be unopened, sealed and in good condition, and returned in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. You are also responsible for arranging and insuring the return shipment. We may claim against you in the event of damage or loss. The Rare Whisky Shop shall not be responsible for any loss or damage in transit of the returned goods.
We take great time and care when packaging your bottle so it reaches you in great condition. From time to time a package may be damaged in transit. Upon receiving your shipment, you should carefully inspect it to ensure that the product is intact and as described. At point of delivery you must inform the courier of any breakages, damages or leakage, otherwise we cannot hold them responsible for the claim. In this instance the parcel should be rejected and ask the courier to return to sender. We cannot consider any claims for breakages or damages unless this information is clearly stated on the courier’s delivery documentation.
