Aged solely in Sherry casks, this bottle does not have an age statement. This is a big whisky, with the ex-Sherry casks imparting a rich, fruity style.
Tasting Notes
Colour – Clear, deep teak with burnished bronze highlights.
Nose – Burnt fruit cake, dried chocolate, vinous amontillado sherry and subtle clove spice. Faint mint jelly.
Palate – Heavy, bitter sweet, robust dry old oak, Christmas pudding, prunes, figs and burnt toffee.
Finish – Long, burnt dried burnt and lingering mint jelly freshness.
