What sets this particular edition apart is the combination of aging in two distinct types of casks. The whisky is aged in Oloroso sherry casks, which impart rich and luscious flavours of dried fruits, nuts, and spices, while also drawing in some sweetness from the sherry influence. Additionally, the whisky is matured in American ex-bourbon casks, contributing notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak.
